
Mayra Carrión-Toro es investigadora y profesora asociada del Departamento de Informática y Ciencias de la Computación de la Escuela Politécnica Nacional de Ecuador. Es ingeniera en ciencias de la computación de la Escuela Politécnica Nacional, Ecuador (2008), tiene una maestría en ciencias de la computación de la Universidad Joseph Fourier de Grenoble, Francia (2011) y un doctorado en ciencias de la computación de la Escuela Politécnica Nacional, Ecuador (2023). Lidera varios proyectos de investigación en la EPN y colabora con la UDLA y la PUCE. Actualmente es miembro del Grupo de Investigación Multidisciplinar Sigti. Sus intereses de investigación incluyen ingeniería de requisitos, sistemas de información, juegos serios, TIC y educación.
